Michael Roos ESPN's 96th best offensive player

New, comments

ESPN is counting down the 100 best players in the NFL on both sides of the ball. Football cannot get here soon enough.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN is ranking the top 100 players on offense and defense over the next 10 days.  They are going to release the lists 10 at a time.  The suspense is building...

Anyway, they released the first 10 players today on each side of the ball, and they ranked Michael Ross the 96th best offensive player in the game.  Here is what they had to say about Roos:

Only the Panthers (37) and Vikings (32) have more 20-yard rushes outside the tackles than the Titans in the past four seasons (31). Roos has appeared in more than 98 percent of Tennessee's snaps over that span.

I am not sure that is the best stat to point to how good Roos is, but that is the one they decided to use.

Also interesting that they weren't able to find Michael Roos on Twitter. He just has the generic @TennesseeTitans on there instead of his @MichaelRoos.
