The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced today that Blaine Gabbert will be their starting quarterback in week one. He was in a training camp battle for the job with Chad Henne. Winning that battle is like being the smartest kid in summer school, but I digress..
Actually we have nothing to be excited about here. Gabbert might be terrible, but I am pretty sure that even he can put up some good numbers against this Titans defense. We might be able to pull the best 11 football players from the readers here at MCM and lead a touchdown drive against what we saw in Cincinnati Saturday night.
But hey, no reason to be worried, right? It is only the preseason.
Back to the Jaguars, their offense is going to run through Maurice Jones-Drew regardless of who the starting quarterback is. They will have a better year if he can just stay healthy.
