Percy Harvin was the Seahawks biggest acquisition this offseason. They get a tough break tonight with the news that his injured hip will require surgery.

Percy Harvin announced tonight on Twitter that his hip injury is going to require surgery. Most people are speculating that he will miss at least 3 months. This is significant to the Titans because they travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks on October 13th. The chances that he will play in that game are slim.

Harvin tortured this team last year when he was with the Vikings. He accounted for 2 touchdowns, one in the air and one on the ground, and had 108 yards receiving. So while you never want to see anyone injured, the Titans won't be shedding any tears if he is on the sideline in street clothes.

I love watching Harvin play. Hopefully he will return from the injury at 100%.
