Music City Miracles Newest Writer

Hola to the Music City Miracles Community!

Wesley Hitt

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the music City Miracles Community before I just start throwing articles up on the site.

I've been writing for TitanSized.com and some of you may or may not have read my articles and posts on that site. I have decided to step down from my role of Assistant Editor and move over to MCM. I know the community and fans here are unparalleled in the realm of Titans blogs. For those that would like to get a feel for what I've what written in the past, as well as have nothing better to do, you can check out my archives from TitanSized.
I would like to first and foremost apologize in advance for any repetition that I may create by posting similar articles or topics to those that have already been done here. As much as I have checked in on the site, I can't claim knowledge of every article posted.

Once the season starts, I have a "Silver Lining" series I'll do after each game for the consummate optimist and may throw in a "Dark Cloud" counterpart this year. (Very original names I know.) I don't have any one emphasis in my writing, but try and think outside the box as much as possible. I'll delve into everything from salary cap to alignments, but am always jaded by the heart of a fan.

As any writer will tell you, there may be no off-season, but these next two months could be described as arduous at best. The amount of material available is akin to scavenging for grubs under a cactus in the desert. I can find grubs, but the real problem is that, well, it's a grub. And everyone has seen that same grub before. Maybe we can marinate these grubs and get creative. Skewers, a little Teriyaki ...now I'm just rambling.

I would also like to thank Jimmy and Dan for reaching out to me as well. I consider it flattery to be invited into the company of Music City Miracles and for them to want me here.

As for me, I enjoy my family, a bit of bass fishing, and of course the Titans. I've also become a bit of a beer and bourbon snob over the years. I'm always looking for a good new IPA to throw on tap so don't hesitate to let me know your favorite brew. I'm considered the perpetual devil's advocate and you will more than likely find me arguing the "other side" of a point just for the sake of it.

I'm excited to be here and can't wait to get started this coming week.

As always, you can find me on Twitter @gunnelsj if you want to chat Titans.
