Jake Locker: "No one wants me to have success more than me"

Saying the right things doesn't win football games, but you have to love what Locker is saying.

Jake Locker went on Sirius XM this morning with Rich Gannon, and Gannon asked him if he was feeling a different level of pressure entering his third year as a starting quarterback in the NFL. He is part of Locker's answer:

No. For me, the pressure that anyone else wants to put on me, I don't pay attention to it. Nobody wants me to have success more than me. I am going to push myself harder than anyone could ever push me to get the most out of what I've been given. I am excited about the opportunity. I know we have a lot of guys that are talented football players, and anybody who is surrounded by those guys would be excited about it.

You may or may not be aware, but many people, Jommy included, are calling this a make or break year for Locker. You can agree or disagree with that, but there is no doubt that the tools are in place for this offense to be really good. However, it will only go as far as Locker can take it.
