As a Titans fans we used to hate Bernard Pollard, but he is the classic case of a guy that you hate if he plays again your team but love when he is on your team. Pollard has made no bones about what he plans to get done in Nashville this season. To that end, he has one goal and one mission according to Jim Wyatt:
"Our goal is the Super Bowl, and our mission is to kill," said Pollard, pointing to his handwritten note. "And if someone doesn’t like it, then who cares? I really couldn’t care less. It is not our responsibility to make anyone else happy, to please you, to care about you."
Get ready because much is going to be made of those comments in the next few days. It is a slow news cycle in the NFL right now, and with the emphasis that has been put on player safety in the last few years, there are going to be people who blow this out of proportion.
Then again, as gramsey just told me via IM: "He cares 0."
