NFL mock draft 2013: Three rounds for the Titans

A very defensive draft for the Titans here.

Spruce Derden-US PRESSWIRE

Our friend Matthew Fairburn has put out a three-round mock draft, and it is interesting for the Titans. While I am still holding out hope that they will take Chance Warmack with the 10th pick, there is a very good chance that their first three picks are spent on defensive players- as they were in this draft.

Here is how he played it out for the Titans:

At 10 they took Bjoern Werner:

Kamerion Wimbley and Derrick Morgan have become a solid tandem at defensive end for the Titans, but the team needs to beef up the depth chart with more pass rushers. Not only would Bjoern Werner provide the team depth, but he may become the team's most talented edge rusher.
We have talked a lot about Werner. I am not sold.

At 40 he has the Titans taking Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State. Banks, who has a ridiculously spelled name, was once considered to be right at the top of this corner class. His stock has taken a little bit of a hit over the last couple of months, but he is a good player that could help this team.

At 70 he has the Titans taking Justin Pugh, OG, Syracuse. It is interesting to note that he had Larry Warford going 69th to the Cardinals. Would the Titans be willing to move up a little bit to get Warford if he slid like that?

At 95 he has the Titans taking Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State.
