Well there it is, the Titans finally selected the defensive end that we all expected them to take. Edwards has 4.5 sacks last season for the Tigers and 7 tackles for loss. Edwards is the 7th player selected off of LSU's defense last season. It is amazing that they didn't win more games than they did (ZING!)
He is also the 4th SEC player taken by the Titans in this draft. It is pretty funny considering there were a million calls in the last few months to sports talk radio about how the Titans never draft SEC players.
If not thing else, Edwards gives them some depth at the defensive end position, which they desperately needed. It will be nice to see someone other than Scott Solomon running out there.
