2013 NFL Draft results: A look at what the AFC South has done

A look at the picks from the other teams in the AFC South.

Streeter Lecka

We have spent most of our time talking about the moves that the Titans have made so far in the NFL Draft. Here is a look at what other teams in the division have done in the first three rounds of the draft:

Jacksonville

1st round- Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M

2nd round- Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International

3rd round- Dwayne Gratz, CB, UConn

The Jaguars have gotten a lot of value out of their picks. They have drafted three guys that will start for them immediately and are big upgrades to what they previously had.

Indianapolis

1st round- Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State

3rd round- Hugh Thornton, G, Illinois

Thornton is a good player, but I haven't been a big fan of Werner through this whole process. I just don't see him being a difference maker in the NFL- and I sure hope I am right because he is now a member of the Colts.

Houston

1st round- DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson

2nd round- D.J. Swearinger, S, South Carolina

3rd round- Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina

3rd round- Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU

I hate to admit it, but I really like what the Texans have done with their picks. I was glad that they took Hopkins instead of Cordarrelle Patterson, but Hopkins will be the best compliment Houston has had to Andre Johnson. I love Swearinger and a lot of people were turned off by Montgomery in the draft process, but he is a good football player.
