The NFL Draft is only a few days away. I could not be more excited, the draft is probably one of my favorite days of the year and I can't wait to enjoy it with all of you.
Former NFL Defensive Back, Corey Chavious, says that the Titans will grab a guard with the 10th overall, pick, but in this case it's Cooper, not Warmack, because Warmack is off the board when we picked. Chavious was one of the people (maybe the only person) that correctly mocked Rusty Smith to us a few years ago.
John Glennon has a piece on the two best guards (and best prospects) in the draft and how good they could be and what their strengths are.
Mike Mayock says we could go in three different directions in the draft, DE, CB, or OG. He lists Mingo, Cooper, Warmack, and Hayden as options.
Yahoo's Mike Silver has a great article on ILB from Oregon, Kiko Alonzo.
One of the best quotes about Warmack in this big board.
A fat, sweating, power pig. He's nasty and I bet his breath smells. He's that guy you play sports with that's overly physical and sweating buckets. You dont even want to touch him. Chance Warmack will create massive holes in the run game and make defensive lineman quit before the game is even over. He has a very strong upper body and very thick in lower half. He plays with a wide base and can anchor in pass protection. He can move for a big man when asked to. Multiple Pro Bowls in his future.
Fanspeak has a NFL value board that is pretty cool.
Paul Kuharsky had his weekly twitter mailbag and talks about the Titans' draft strategy briefly.
That Tampa Bay secondary is gonna be ridiculous. It'll be awesome to watch the Bucs play the high powered passing offenses in their division. Also awesome to watch them pick off Sanchez a billion times in week 1.
Jim Wyatt looks at what positions we could be seen taken by the Titans on Thursday and ranks them by urgency.
David Climer rights another article on how Munch's job is on the line and how we need to draft well.
Who are some notable 4th rounders on the Titans? What about Defensive captain Colin McCarthy and MCM member Alterraun Verner?
2008 was a draft in which we took Craig Stevens, Lavelle Hawkins, and Chris Johnson.
Titans Draft Countdown also takes us to 2009, where we picked Kenny Britt. Its a make or break season for him one could say.
Finally, we look at some 5th rounders the Titans have taken recently. Future standout TE Taylor Thompson is one former 5th rounder that looks to make an impact this coming year.
