Lost in all the free agency craziness is that the Titans have had visits scheduled with several different prospects. Some of which we touched on earlier with the hometown Commodores visiting the facilities a couple of weeks ago. This time, we have a couple of the more well known names that will come in or have completed their visits in Barkevious Mingo and Johnathan Cyprien.

Both Cyprien and Mingo will have used up two of the 30 out of town prospect visits allowed per league rules. The Mingo visit was scheduled since around the time of the Combine and it finally happened yesterday. There could be enough legitimate interest in Keke Mingo by the Titans to take him with the 10th pick should he last that far. Would I support the pick if that were to occur? Yes I would. The team, although not as desperate for defensive ends now, still need more depth at the position.

The Cyprien visit could be just an extended look at one of the hottest names in the draft this year. He has rocketed up the charts in almost every mock draft since the draft process began in January. Most people have him going in the late first round or early second round. If the Titans have serious interest, they might want to contact the teams in the 20s about a trade down to nab Cyprien in a justifiable range. The team did work out Kenny Vaccaro privately so this long look at safeties even with a bunch on the current roster could be a smokescreen.
