2013 NFL Free Agency: CB Leodis McKelvin re-signs with Bills

McKelvin remains a Bill instead of becoming a law. No vetoes here

Rick Osentoski-US PRESSWIRE

The have re-signed CB/returner Leodis McKelvin to a four-year, $20M contract. Story being posted ASAP at .com

Leodis McKelvin has re-signed with the Bills. He would've been an intriguing under the radar option for the Titans look at as a veteran third corner who could fix the return game issues as well. The contract he signed is very reasonable and a win for the Bills as he would've likely gotten more on the open market. McKelvin's best days are behind him but he still is a solid corner that would have provided another veteran leadership voice to the Titans. He also has had a lot of good times with current Titan/ex Bill safety George Wilson. It certainly would've been interesting to see what those two could've done in tandem in Nashville. Maybe Wilson can put in a good word or two about the Titans organization to lure Andy Levitre.

With the free agency news trickling out slowly now, it seems that some teams and agents are openly flaunting the new NFL memo put out yesterday. It will be interesting to see what punishments are meted out by the league office for these leaks.
