There is a lot of love around her for Brandon Myers as a Jared Cook replacement. Myers had a breakout season last year with 79 catches for 806 yards and 4 touchdowns. I asked Levi Damien of Silver and Black Pride for his thoughts on Myers:
There is a good chance Brandon Myers could leave the Raiders. He was the default starter last season after the team cut ties with Kevin Boss for cap reasons. Myers took the opportunity and led the team in receptions. He showed surprising hands for a guy who was previously considered more of a utility and special teams player. Also surprising was how poorly he blocked -- an area which was supposed to be a strength of his. A prevailing thought, and one I share, is Myers' big numbers were more a product of the offense. The Raiders running game was terrible, lack of pass protection gave Carson Palmer little time to throw, and the wide receivers were suspect. Myers was the relief valve underneath quite often as Palmer. The team is content to allow him to seek a better deal as a free agent before extending an offer to him. Brandon Myers has said so himself. I don't think he will be too expensive as a free agent but I do see other teams offering better deals than the Raiders.
I also asked Matt Miller (@nfldraftscout) for his opinion on Myers:
Not as big of a fan as others are. Didn't make my top 50 TEs. RT @titansmcm: What about Brandon Myers?

So it sounds like Myers might be a fit for more of a short passing game, but it also sounds like the Titans could do a lot better.
