The hiring of George Henshaw as the TE coach for the Titans wasn't all about the TEs. It was in part to benefit Locker, by giving him guys he can go to for easy completions and yardage. Sort of like McNair had when his completion percentage jumped from 52 to years of over 60.
Climer of the Tennessean says we should do more drafting from the SEC. I agree completely. The bit of how we drafted Woolfolk over Witten was sobering to say the least. Imagine Witten as a Titan, it would be unbelievable to have a consistent TE threat.
Paul Kuharsky has his Twitter mailbag out. There are a couple Titans questions mixed in there.
Which Pro Prospects have the most to gain from pro days? NFL.com has the answers. Matt Barkley makes the list, but I think the only place he'll impress at all is in the interview room. Gavin Escobar also makes the list, he's an intriguing name and regarded as a good pass catcher and blocker. If he runs a little better at his pro day he'll definitely be at least a third rounder. Terron Armstead also makes the list with an intriguing bit that teams are looking to make him the next Taylor Thompson.
NFL.com also has a list of the best available FA running backs. I think they sorely undervalue Steven Jackson.
