I expect the Titans to make 2 more moves before FA is over. I expect them to sign the big bodied DE they've been looking for and I expect them to get a wideout.
Brandon Gibson will be visiting tomorrow and I think he'll end up with a contract. Gibson is a great route runner with solid hands. He's not gonna get a lot of YAC, but he does get 1st downs. Superhorn and others can expound on how he'll fit into our offense.
Big DE Matt Shaughnessy will visit over the weekend. He's a good run stuffer and huge at 6'5, 285 lbs. He's exactly what the FO wanted.
New LB Moise Fokou will challenge McCarthy for the starting MLB spot, and even if he doesn't get it, he'll be really solid depth, plus can play OLB if we give Ayers a breather or stick his hand in the dirt.
Adam Schein of NFL.com says we are crushing FA right now.
Fokou talks about giving the LBs an identity. He parrots off of what was said earlier in the offseason that we want to have the biggest, baddest linebackers in the NFL.
Paul Kuharsky tells all the Houston Texans fans to calm down. Andy Levitre did not insult JJ Watt.
PK in his weekly chat also says that guard and pass rusher are the Titans biggest two needs right now. I completely agree with that assessment. The great thing is we filled a bunch of voids during FA and we can go a bunch of different directions in the draft. That being said, I'd really like Mingo/Warmack/Cooper in the first and then the opposite DE/G in the second.
BIll Polian still likes the signing of Delanie Walker, saying we have improved greatly so far, but then Schefter asks, "who's playing QB." He indirectly makes a point that has been made on here in the last few days, 2013 is on Jake Locker. The FO has done everything so far to make sure he succeeds. I have no doubt he can do it, but he's gonna have to prove it.
Chris Wesseling talks about the most eyebrow raising deals of FA so far.
My favorite prospect this year, Tyrann Mathieuwas busy in studios yesterday answering some tough questions from NFL AM and NFL Network.
