Jim Wyatt told us yesterday that the Ttians were planning on bringing Brandon Gibson in for a visit on Friday. Of course that situation is always fluid when players have another visit lined up earlier.
Now we know that Gibson has left the Jets without a contract. He is scheduled to visit the Dolphins today before heading to Tennessee tomorrow.
The assumption at this point is that Nate Washington would not be on this team in 2013 if they sign Brandon Gibson. I don't know enough about Gibson to know if I like that or not. All I have done is looked at his stats, and at least in 2012, they looked very similar to Nate's. The upside here could be that Gibson is 4 years younger than Nate.
Check back later for some info on Gibson from Turf Show Times.
