The first day of free agency has come and gone and I would consider the Titans to be big winners, and definitely top 2. The other team I thought did very well with their signings was the Eagles, although they didn't make "splash" moves, they did well to make themselves better without really overpaying for anyone.
These next few days should shape up as very interesting as Nate Washington is being shopped around.
The assumption is that we are shopping Wash because we are targeting Danny Amendola. I have mixed feelings about this, in part because I like Washington so much and because Danny has somewhat of an injury history.
In case you hadn't heard, the Titans signed Delanie Walker and Andy Levitre yesterday. Two big moves for the Titans that should help improve the offense.
Jim Wyatt looks at the signing of the two players.
NFL32 really liked what we did yesterday in terms of signings.
NFL.com goes over what we learned on Day 1 of FA.
NFL.com writers also go over who were the winners and losers in day one. Again the Titans are listed as winners.
I know I should temper my emotions, but why the heck should we not be excited about this team? This is honestly probably the best I've felt about this organization in months at least.
