Kenny Vaccaro meets with Titans at 2013 NFL Combine

Wyatt also reports that the Titans will interview Kenny Vaccaro in Indianapolis.

US PRESSWIRE

As noles said in his Sunday recap post, Jim Wyatt mentioned that the Tennessee Titans will be meeting with Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro tonight at the NFL combine. Vaccaro's name has been linked to the Titans in numerous mock drafts around the web lately. I don't think that would be the worst pick in the world, but I do think the Titans could find similar value to Vaccaro in the second round.

The only real advantage to adding Vaccaro is that he is a true free safety- meaning he would be a guy that would replace Michael Griffin. Any of the guys that they would be eyeing in the second round, Eric Reid, Matt Elam, Jonathan Cyprien, are all strong safeties.

The Titans clearly need both, but they have at least gotten a stop-gap at strong safety with George Wilson. Maybe his addition can help settle Griffin down back there as he will only have to play one roll (of course that isn't going to stop him from taking terrible angles, missing tackles and biting on every single play fake).
