NFL Draft 2013: Some evening reading (and a Bobby Bonilla story)

A few articles and a discussion question for your evening pleasure.

A few articles and a discussion question for your evening pleasure.

Here are some interesting things from around the interwebz today:

  • Bobby Bonilla should be your financial planner. It is really surprising that the Mets agreed to that deal on the front end. As Jimmy always says, "A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush."
  • Chance Warmack, who should be the Titans pick at 10 (have I mentioned that yet?), appeared on NFL AM this morning. "It's work, man."
  • Bucky Brooks has some pro comparisons for the players in this year's draft.
  • Mike Mayock had a marathon conference call today. One of the most interesting things that came out of it was that he thinks Barkevious Mingo is a "developmental 3-4 outside linebacker."

That brings us to the discussion question of the evening: How would you feel if the Titans drafted Mingo 10th (let's assume Warmack is off the board)? He is a very polarizing guy among the draft evaluators out there, but is he worth the risk in a draft that doesn't have a lot of blue chip prospects?
