I love a mock draft where you can tell that the author really did his homework. The guys like Todd McShay and Mel Kiper are the ones that get all of the pub for their stuff, but that doesn't mean they are the best out there. Take a look at this mock from a guy named Joshua Mitchell (@NFLDraf_JAM24).
He has the Titans making the correct selection, Chance Warmack:
Sure, being an interior lineman could cause him to fall, but he’s a Top 10 talent for sure. I like the idea of Sheldon Richardson over any of the edge-rushers (Jordan/Mingo/Ansah), but if they want to get Chris Johnson going they need to rebuild the offensive line. HC Mike Munchak has an offensive line background (he was an OG in the NFL) so he’ll love Warmack because he’s a dominate guard. It’s typically unusual for interior lineman to priase such a high selection; however, Warmack is a rare case because of his strength, size, and footwork.
Click the link and read through the rest of his analysis of the Titans. It is actually pretty good.
He did a 6-round mock. Here are the other picks for the Titans:
2nd round- Jonathan Jenkins, DT, UGA
3rd round- Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State
4th round- William Gholston, DE, Michigan State
5th round- Micah Hyde, FS, Iowa
My only problem here is that he didn't have the Titans taking a safety until the 5th round. They simply cannot afford to wait that long- of course we said that last year about interior offensive line....
