Chris Johnson joined the guys on The Midday 180 from radio row in New Orleans today, and he had some interesting things to say. That show is hosted by Jonathan Hutton, Chad Withrow and Paul Kuharsky, and they did an outstanding job of asking good questions, and CJ did a good job of providing clear, honest answers.
They asked him if he thought the Titans were going to pay him the $9 million he is due next month, and he said he hasn't talked to anybody about it. I think it is pretty much a certainty that the Titans will pay him that money.
He was also asked if he thought the Titans were close to being an elite team, and he said he didn't think they were right now because of the record this past season. It is hard to argue with that.
They also asked Chris Johnson about having a new position coach, and he said it has been tough to work with so many different coaches in his time with the team.
They are going to post the entire audio of the interview online, and I will link it when they do.
