2013 Titans FA Breakdown: Week 13

How did the 2013 Free Agent additions perform against the Colts last weekend?

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Ryan Fitzpatrick

(21/37 201 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs, 1 lost fumble)

Fitzpatrick was above and beyond the major reason the Titans lost to the Colts. He was off from the start of the day to the end, making some poor throws, worse decisions, and apparently not even seeing defenders in coverage. The Titans were unable to overcome the turnovers, and you really can't expect to win when you lose 4 turnovers to the opposition. Fitztragic returned with a thunderous collapse.

Delanie Walker (1 catch, 5 yards)

Walker was injured early in the game, which forced Loggains and co. to change the game plan on the fly. Aside from that, he was screwed out of a catch with a terrible call (even after a review made the play quite clear). It just goes to show how big of a cog he is in this Titans offense at this point. While I am a huge Taylor Thompson fan, he failed to step up in Walker's absence. His status is still questionable going into next week.

Bernard Pollard

(5 tackles, 1 INT)

Pollard was almost the only FA who had a better game than last week. His early heads-up interception should have given the Titans a great chance to get ahead, but predictably it was wasted. While he has been a journeyman up to this point, Pollard is playing his best football yet in two-toned blue. He has been a big part of a vastly improved secondary with both his leadership and run support. He hasn't been awful in coverage either. While the Titans have been bad against the run of late, they should be thankful they have Pollard (and a more physical Griffin) in the secondary to prevent those runs going for long TDs.

Shonn Greene (10 rushes, 39 yards)

Andy Levitre (Average)

George Wilson (3 tackles, 2 assists, 1 dropped INT)

Antonio Johnson (1 assist)

Ropati Pitoitua (2 tackles)

Sammie Hill (3 tackles)

Jackie Battle (NONE)

Rob Turner (IR)
