NFL mock draft 2014: Titans go offensive tackle again

An offensive lineman in the top 11 for the second year in a row for the Tennessee Titans? That is a very real possibility.

Kevin Liles-USA TODAY Sports

Dan Kadar has put out a new mock draft this morning, and he has the Tennessee Titans taking Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson (just like last week).  Here is what Dan had to say about the pick:

Right tackle Dave Stewart may not be back next season, and if he's let go the position becomes a big need for Tennessee. Robinson is a powerhouse left tackle for Auburn and has the physical blocking style to succeed on the right side. Once Michael Roos retires or moves on, Robinson can shift to the left. It will be worth monitoring what the Titans say about Jake Locker. A quarterback could be on the table.

Taking Robinson here is probably the smart move. They are going to have to replace both tackles in the next 2-3 years. As Dan said, Robinson could play on the right side until Roos moves on, and then you could spend a later round pick on a right tackle next year.

Other players I would like to see the Titans consider if the draft plays out like this: the highest rated corner on their board if Alterraun Verner leaves in free agency, S Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, DT Ra'Shede Hageman, MLB C.J. Mosley (but would want them to trade down to acquire the last 2)
