Here are a few Tweets from Jim Wyatt tonight:
All indications are a decision on Mike Munchak's fate won't be made until late in wk, which could be viewed as a good sign 4 Munchak #Titans

It is mind-boggling to me that it will take until later in the week for a decision to be made. It should have been made a month ago.
My thinking is: If #Titans president/CEO Tommy Smith planned on firing him, he wouldn't wait while other teams with openings got a jump

I couldn't agree more. It would be stupid for them to wait a few days to get in the mix for a new coach.
I also believe the more firings around NFL Monday, the more it helps Munchak. The pool of potential can't-miss candidates isn't that deep

Is there such a thing as a "can't miss candidate?" Also, the Titans coach is currently Mike Munchak. They should be willing to settle for a "we hope this guy won't miss candidate" at this point. That is better than a "mediocrity forever" coach.
It is going to be really hard to get that excited about a 2014 season that will feature the same ineptitude at the helm.
