I really like this move. I don't know what went wrong with Tyler Wilson in Oakland, but that kid could play at Arkansas. Wilson was tough, accurate and mobile under Bobby Petrino but wasn't the same after Petrino's girlfriend's fiance beat him up, er, motorcycle wreck.
This move means the Titans will release one of their quarterbacks that is currently on the roster. My guess is that it will be John Skelton, but Rusty Smith has to run out of lives at some point.
The Titans will now have a couple of week to evaluate Wilson and have the first crack at signing him this offseason.
