The Titans have lacked a killer instinct for a while now. This offseason they signed Bernard Pollard to try and bring that back to the franchise. It looked like it had worked through the first month of the season.
Things have changed a little bit now, but that isn't because of Pollard. He still plays and talks with that same style that he has his whole career. That has rubbed off on a lot of guys on the team. This year Jason McCourty spoke up for the first time in his career. As Leroy Jethro Gibbs says, there is no such thing as a coincidence. That is a direct influence of having Pollard on the team.
I just hope he can find something to light a fire under these guys for the rest of the year.
