There are reports out of Houston that Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has passed away. The Titans have yet to confirm the report. Mr. Adams has owned this franchise since it's inception back in the AFL days. He was instrumental in bringing the franchise here from Houston back in 1997.
Adams was 90 years old. He didn't make the trip to Nashville for games as often in recent years because of his failing health, but he was always good for a money quote after a big loss by the team.
It will be interesting to see what will happen with the franchise now. Bud's grandson, Kenneth, works for the franchise. He will probably take over the day-to-day operations in the short-term.
