We have been beating the drum for a month now, and according to Jim Wyatt the change is finally going to happen- Brian Schwenke will start at center on Sunday for the Titans. I had suspected they would do this after the bye, but I am very glad to see them do it now.
Rob Turner won the job in camp, but that was only because Schwenke missed so much time with a hamstring injury. That is tough to overcome for a rookie.
Inserting Schwenke is not going to cure all of the Titans woes on the offensive line, but it should make them stronger at center. Now they will just need the rest of the guys to play up to their potential- which they haven't been doing to this point.
