Mock draft season is so awesome (I will not be saying that in a month), but what I love about it right now is that I get to see names going in the first round that I have never even heard before. Today Matthew Fairburn has the Titans taking Ziggy Ansah, DE, BYU in his latest 2013 NFL mock draft. Someone out there is going to have to help me out with some info on that kid.
Here is what Matthew had to say:
Kamerion Wimbley is pushing 30, and Derrick Morgan has been solid but unspectacular. The Titans could use some help on the edge, and Ziggy Ansah has the upside to be an impact player at defensive end. He is still new to football, but Ansah's game is surprisingly refined.
Upside is a scary word with the 10th pick, but there is no doubt that the thing this defense needs with the first round pick is a dynamic pass rusher to add to the mix. If Ziggy is that guy, bring him on!
