NFL Playoff Schedule 2013: Game Times, Odds and Picks

Breaking down Sunday's divisional playoff games.

Rich Schultz

I was 0-2 on my picks yesterday after going 3-1 last week. It has been so long that I forgot you never pick Peyton Manning in a game that actually counts. Oh well.

Here are my thoughts on today's games:

Seattle @ Atlanta (12:00 central FOX)

I am really looking forward to this game. The Seahawks are one of the hottest teams in the league, and Matt Ryan is working to exercise his playoff demons. The Falcons are a 3 point favorite here, and given that Vegas usually gives 3 to the home team, it means that the odds makers see these teams as pretty even. In the end, the Falcons have more playmakers and they squeak out a win in thriller.

Houston @ New England (3:30 CBS)

For some reason, I don't hate the Patriots as much as I once did- maybe that is because my hatred for them was nowhere close to the hatred that I have for the Texans. Houston has a lot to prove in this game. They are a 10 point underdog in some places, and that might be generous considering what we saw when these two met in week 14. Unlike Pey-Pey, Tom Brady is at his best in playoff games. Give me the Patriots.
