Steven Bisig-US PRESSWIRE

A bright spot in the Titans 2012 campaign was the play of our two outside linebackers down the stretch. Akeem Ayers and Zach Brown both showed that they can do it all. They can blitz, they can cover, they can stop the run. Of course there are the plays when they miss a tackle or some sort of brain fart, but that is part of the learning experience. I am really excited about the future of this linebacking core (whether McCarthy is healthy or we draft someone).

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Frank Bush was fired yesterday to the rejoicing of some (MCM) and to the despair of others. Bush was the DC of the Texans' defense a couple years ago when they were historically bad, and he was the linebackers coach this year on a defense that was historically bad. I really hope this doesn't mean we are keeping Gray because it isn't too often you see the assistants fired before the Coordinator.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Zach Brown said he learned a lot from Bush and credited his quick development to him. Needless to say Brown wasn't very happy when Bush was fired and took to twitter to say so.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Titans Online continues their "Season Rewind" series and focuses on the Defensive Line in this segment. I was really really pleased with the way our line played this year. Morgan is quickly becoming one of my favorite players on this team and hopefully we keep Marks when FA hits.

Tennessee_titans_30x21The new Jacksonville GM says he doesn't see Tebow fitting in their plans. I do not know whether this is a good idea or not. I think it would sell tickets for them, which they desperately need unless they are moving to LA and it would provide someone to market, because really the only marketable player on their team is MJD. Plus ESPN would get to do a Jacksonville segment in every SportsCenter broadcast. On the flip side, Tebow is not a very good quarterback and that offensive line would kill him.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Jacksonville also fired Mike Mularkey, their head coach. He's not the best option in the world but we could do worse at OC. This would mean Loggains was canned, a scenario I find very unlikely.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Researchers discovered that Junior Seau suffered from CTE, or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Rob Chudzinski was named the Browns head coach last night. Apparently he is bringing along Norv Turner to be OC, so kiss those pipe-dreams goodbye.

OT: Has anyone seen "Django Unchained" yet? I thought it was awesome but would love to get your opinion on it.
