Three things after the jump!
1. Derrick Morgan:By now we have a pretty good idea on what we have in Kamerion Wimbley and it is beyond time for Morgan to show he was worth a first round selection.
Morgan has shown signs of progress this offseason but we need to see consistency during the regular season. The best way for Morgan to ease the minds of fans and coaches is to have a decent game against an allegedly defunct offensive line.
(Morgan SACK!!!!!!1111) may not have the same ring that (BALL SACK!!!!!1111) does but it will be nice to hear none the less.
2. Tommie Campbell:
Coaches have raved about Campbell's athletic ability and work ethic all season, I'm not sold, but I could be if he is able to slow some of the bad guys offensive weapons.
Before you take out you torches and pitchforks and head to Walter Hill to burn me while I sleep tonight hear me out. Campbell was schooled by Braylon Edwards....let that sink in a minute. Braylon Edwards!!!! I know, I saw the hold to but he can't let that happen in this game.
Campbell has all of the athletic ability in the world but he is one of the only parts of this defense that I am truly scared about during this game. He will have plenty of opportunity to prove me wrong Sunday because he is going to see all kinds of playing time do to New England's "air it out" offense.
3. Colin McCarthy
McCarthy is Danomite's Dynamite Player To Watch On Defense.
We all know this guy is a beast and so does New England. #52 will have an interception and will cause all sorts of damage to the Patriots offense.
If nothing else, the Patriots will be glad to get as far away from LP field and McCarthy as they can after the game is over, regardless of the score. Sit back and watch the man work!
