The Music City Miracle is obviously the most famous play in the history of this franchise. Yesterday the Titans ran a variation of the play, Home Run Throwback. This time is was on a punt instead of a kickoff. It was really good to see Tommie Campbell make sure that he got behind Darius Reynaud so there was no doubt this one was a lateral.
GIF! after the jump.
We talked about this a little bit last night on MCM Radio, but the Titans need to find a way to get the ball in Campbell's hands more often. That guy can flat run away from people. They have apparently decided not to use him on defense, so why not let Chris Palmer see if he can find a way to work in a few junk plays for Campbell?
These plays don't come along very often, but they are so exciting when they do.
