Not much of a recap. It was literally impossible to keep up with all of the things that were happening during this game. I am now mentally exhausted and you guys get what you get, time to celebrate and take some ibuprofen after this mess of a game.
So much happened in this game, I really do not have time to completely cover everything that went on. This game was touchdown city. Washington caught a long touchdown from Jake Locker as did Jared Cook. Reynaud had a kickoff return for a touchdown and the Tennessee Titans brought back the "Music City Miracle" play for which Tommie Campbell caught on a pass from Reynaud and then returned for a touchdown on a punt return.
The Titan defense did well to hold the Lions offense in check during the first half but collapsed in the second half where they gave up a ton of yards to Calvin Johnson and Leshoure. This is exactly the kind of football that I was expecting to see out of Tennessee at the beginning of the year, shootout style football. I really cannot even begin to write everything that happened on offense and defense because this game is literally coming down to hour number four as we speak.
One thing I can say is that ATV, Washington, Cook, Wright, and Locker were all amazing and had HUGE PLAYS I'm sorry, Ayers had a good game but he is the turd of the game for slapping the ball into the hands of the receiver as time expired. You just cannot let that happen, period.
It is now overtime and we have done everything to win and to lose this game, everything humanly possible. I have never ever ever seen a game like this one.
GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!! After the Titans allowed the Lions to march up and down the field on them during the overtime period they finally get a stop on a quarterback seek on a fourth down try by Detroit. TITANS WIN!!!!!!!!!!
