According to Adam Schefter the Titans put in a waiver claim on former Texans guard Shelley Smith but he was awarded to the Rams.
More after the jump!!!It is becoming clear that the Titans aren't done addressing the 53 man roster. Over the last few days we have learned that they are looking at bringing in some guys on the defensive line for a look, now it seems as though they are searching for depth at guard. Tennessee is extremely thin at the position with only two "true" guards on the roster.Four teams - St. Louis, Washington, Seattle, Tennessee - put in waiver claims for former Texans G Shelley Smith, who was awarded to Rams.

Tennessee has several guys who are considered "swing" guys in Kevin Matthew and Mike Otto, however, it seems as though they are looking to add another body here.
Smith was nothing special, he was a sixth round pick back in 2010 and hasn't played a single down in the NFL, he also spent last year on IR.
