As Hal yells "I TOLD YOU SO," PFT is reporting that a league source, whatever that means, says that some players in the Tennessee Titans locker room are "grumbling" about Chris Palmer. Mike Florio says that the players are asking "What has this guy ever done in the NFL?" When you read through the Palmer's resume that Florio lists there, you have to say that it is a fair question.
We have all been excited this offseason about some of the things that Palmer is going to try and do with this offense, but we haven't seen much of that come to fruition in the preseason or in the first week of the season. To be fair, they were going to keep things vanilla in the first preseason game and there has only been one game, but you do wonder about some of the playcalling.
For instance, why did we not see a designed QB run until late in the game? Where are all the designed roll outs that we heard so much about during camp? Why oh why do we keep running the ball to Leroy Harris's side? Those are just a few of the things that you had to be wondering while watching that game yesterday.
A lot of people call today "overreaction Monday" and more this is just one example of that, but if there really is some dissension in the locker room surrounding Palmer, it is only going to get worse until they get a couple of wins.
