Here are a few observations from tonight's game:

-Jake Locker looked much better tonight. There were still some inaccurate throws, but he was in command of the offense. His arm is unbelievably strong, but they need to convince him that he doesn't have to throw every pass 100 miles per hour. That will come with time.

-Locker and Kendall Wright are going to be stars in this league together. I cannot wait to watch them develop together. It said a lot about where Wright is already that he was in there early while Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins were in there late.

-Chris Johnson looked more like week 1 CJ than week 2 CJ in this one. I really have no idea what that means at this point.

-Colin McCarthy is awesome. He has a nose for the football. Look for a huge year from him if he can stay healthy.

-Robert Johnson got a lot of time with the first team tonight and it apparently wasn't because Jordan Babineaux wasn't healthy enough to play. He came in later in the game.

-Terrible to see Marc Mariani go down with an injury like that. There were a lot of people that wanted to see Darius Reynaud win the return job, but no one wanted it to happen like that. The Titans are going to have to sign a receiver now.

-Speaking of Reynaud, watching him field punts tonight was a little scary. I am going to need him to catch those a little better going forward.
