Even though this is just a preseason game, it is a really big night for the Titans franchise. Jake Locker has a chance to claim the starting quarterback job with a good performance tonight. Click through the jump for three things to watch on offense.
1. Jake Locker- As I said above, this is Locker's chance to claim the starting job. Of course it will not all be determined by how he plays tonight, but it is clear that the coaching staff has seen enough in camp to be pretty sure he is ready. Locker can put any concerns they have to bed with a good performance in this one.2. Chris Johnson, again- CJ needs to show something tonight to prove that things are going to be different this year because he didn't last week. He may not have LOL'd his performance, but he did admit after the game that not catching those passes was because of a lack of concentration. It would be nice to see him focus for about 10 plays tonight.
3. Darius Reynaud vs. Jamie Harper vs. Quinn Johnson vs. Collin Mooney- There has been some talk this week that Reynaud might beat out Javon Ringer. That isn't happening. What did happen this week, however, was that Harper got some reps in practice at fullback. I have been saying that Reynaud has to beat out Harper to make this roster, but they might be looking at keeping Harper as the fullback and cutting both Johnson and Mooney. It is a big night for all four of those guys.
