Locker and Hass were up and down last night, but Locker inspired some confidence with his good work in the red zone. After that ugly finish in Atlanta last year, I'm sure he's put a special emphasis on getting comfortable with the playbook when they're on the opponents doorstep.
Zach Brown got publicly crapped on by a lot of talent evaluators one draft day, including Mike Mayock's derisive opinion that the speedy LB is 'allergic to contact'. If that was the case in college, the international broadcast scolding might have been just the medicine Brown needed. All offseason Brown has been working to become more physical in his tackling, and any strides he can make there will be a huge help since he's likely to be on the field a lot during passing downs.
Special teams practices could decide who sticks around as our FB. That's fitting criteria, considering neither one of them is a good FB.
