This is a fansite. There are no real reporters here. Most of the time I do my best to be objective, but every now and then I see something that makes me really mad as a fan. That is what happened this morning when I saw the story over at ATL that Chris Johnson tweeted "lol preseason" after the game Saturday night.
First of all, "lol" is something teenage girls text to each other. No grown man should ever use that. Ever.
Second of all, we could "laugh out loud" about CJ's horrific performance (that is a BR link, but Dunlevy is a good writer) in a preseason game if it didn't look exactly like his horrific performances that he had last season. Click on the link and you will see that there were holes there. CJ just missed them.
All of that doesn't even take into account the fact that he can't catch a pass after insisting that he was a "playmaker" not a running back when he was holding out for his new contract.
Over-reaction from one game and one tweet? Absolutely, but hey, I am just a fan. This is what fans do.
[UPDATE]- Apparently the tweet was in response to a typo in a previous tweet. My bad.
