Tennessee Titans Links to Hold You Over

The worst thing about this first preseason game is that it is on the west coast so it doesn't start until 9:00 here in Nashville. That makes for a long day of waiting. Since August has been really busy lately, he hasn't had time to do the links. Click through the jump to see some things you might have missed in the last week.

John Glennon breaks down the difference between the run-and-shoot offense and the run-and-shoot concepts that the Titans are currently running. The main difference is that the Titans will use a tight end and fullback where the old run-and-shoot did not.

Dave Ballhas been slowed by another concussion, but he says he hopes to be on the field next week. We talked about this the other night on MCM Radio, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Ball walked away. He said he contemplated it after a concussion last year.

ICYMI, Danomite got an interview with Rob Bironas where he expressed his desire for a new contract. That interview was picked up by the national sites yesterday but ignored by the local media.

Another ICYMI, Greg Cosell broke down both Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker. That will obviously be what most people are focused on tonight.
