Ryan Van Bibber finished up his defensive rankings yesterday with the defensive line, and he has the Titans with the 19th best D line in the NFL. That ranking is not surprising considering the problems the Titans had last season getting to the quarterback. What is surprising is that he fails to mention Karl Klug in his blurb:
The Titans really hurt for players capable of getting the quarterback last year, which is why they signed Kamerion Wimbley. Derrick Morgan's early career has been delayed by a torn ACL, and a breakthrough year could be the key to really boosting the Titans pass rush. Jurrell Casey proved to be a solid run defender as a rookie.
It has been said here a million times now, but I cannot wait to see what this defense will put together this season. There are still a lot of question marks, but there is just as much potential. That combination always has a boom or bust possibility. I feel good about this group being a boom. How about you?
