Dan Ariks asks if the drafting of Taylor Thompson puts Jared Cook on the hot seat. The real answer is no. The pressure that Cook is under stems from the fact that he's heading into the final year of his contract, and he's been inconsistent enough that they want to see if Cook can put together a fully productive season for once.
Paul K says that pre-draft visits weren't a big indicator of who was drafted in the AFC South, though the Titans relied on it the most by ending up bringing in over half of their class for visits.
David Climer says the Taylor Thompson was a rare burst of creativity for the Titans franchise.

There might not be a ton of Pro Bowl caliber potential in the Titans draft class. However, they added a good football player at each pick and I could see all seven players end up making their roster. FS Markelle Martin could be a steal if healthy, TE Taylor Thompson has a lot of upside and third round pick Mike Martin is the type of perfect overachiever for them inside.
