2012 Mel Kiper Round 2 Mock Draft

Mel Kiper has put out a 2nd round mock draft this morning (In$ider). He has the Tennessee Titans going with Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin with the 52nd pick. I have to think that the Titans would be beyond thrilled if Konz were to fall to them in the second round. That would allow them to address the need at center without having to spend that first round pick or give up any later picks.

Here is what Kiper had to say about the pick:

The best center in the draft. Tennessee has a need there.

That's why he gets paid the big bucks!

This draft didn't have as many blue chip prospects as some drafts do, but the more I look at it, the more it looks like it is a really deep draft for quality football players. It seems like the Titans will be able to get some really good value at 52 regardless of how the picks in front of them play out.
