This comes as quite a shock with guys like David DeCastro, Courtney Upshaw, Whitney Mercilus, and Nick Perry still on the board, but the Tennessee Titans selected Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor. The Titans need a guy that can stretch the field, and that is exactly what they get in Wright. He did not run well at the combine, but he rallied at his Pro Day to put up a good time.

I have been preaching for years that the Titans need to upgrade receiver as a whole. They have done that with this pick. Wright gives them someone that can stretch the field from the slot.

Wright also will challenge Mark Mariani on special teams. He was a dynamic returner in college.

Frank Wycheck just said that Wright "eerily reminds him of Derrick Mason." Then Wycheck called him "the souped up version of Mason." There will not be anyone out there that is disappointed with this pick if Wright turns into Mason.
