If the Titans do as most expect and draft a CB early, it'll be interesting to see if Alterraun Verner ends up getting used like Cortland did last year. ATV played well in the slot his rookie year, and I can't see anyone in the draft unseating him as a starter on the outside right away.
I'm guessing Jimmy will tear up a little if Terry McCormick's mock plays out in real life, where we get Dre'Kirkpatrick and Alshon Jeffery in the first two rounds.
Jim Wyatt writes about the Titans' front office searching for the right fit as a player and a person in the first round.
Jim Wyatt rates Mike Reinfeldt's drafts with the Titans, and he's got a bit of a harsher curve than most people would. How he graded the 2009 draft (that yielded Britt, Cook, McCourty and Ringer) a C, I have no idea.
Wyatt also looked at the players who have gone with the 20th pick in the draft over the years.
Mike Munchak is feeling much better about his role in the draft this year thanks to the stability of the off-season and already having his coaching staff in place.
Paul K reviews the mock drafts posted yesterday by McShay, Kiper and Mayock for the AFC South.
Paul K says LB is one of our over looked needs.
