Operating out of a quasi-option offense in Georgia Tech, freak athlete Stephen Hill never got a true chance to shine at his position in college. Out of the ether, he emerged on to the scene with an outstanding NFL combine, running a 4.36 40, a nearly 40 inch vertical and excellent combine drill performance. He's a little light for 6-4, and he seems to be more of a deep threat than a possession receiver, but that's exactly what the Texans need next to a (healthy) Andre Johnson. I think the Texans reach for this kid because he has the Mike Wallace-like speed and the height to be a game-changer on the other side of AJ.
Plus, this pick knocks Kevin Walter out of a starting job. Seriously, F**k that guy.
