Tennessee General Assembly Supports the Titans Pursuit of Peyton Manning

From the stuff you cannot make up department, the Tennessee General Assembly has introduced a bill today that "supports the Tennessee Titans potential signing of Peyton Manning." I am sure that this will be the thing that puts the Titans clearly in the lead for Peyton's services. Here is part of what the bill says:

WHEREAS, Mr. Manning is also the only NFL player to accumulate more than 40,000 passing yards, more than 300 passing touchdowns, and 115 wins in a single decade; and
WHEREAS, in addition to being named league MVP for a record-setting four times and being selected to eleven Pro Bowls and five NFL All-Pro First Teams, Peyton Manning led the Indianapolis Colts to a NFL championship in Super Bowl XLI and was named MVP of that game....

You can read the entire bill here.

Productivity in this city is taking a huge hit until Peyton makes a decision. Unless he really is planning on taking a visit with other teams, you would have to think we will know something by the end of the week.
