I did not watch any of the workouts today, but reading through the comments on Kendall Wright's day has been very interesting. Wright's official time was 4.61. On the surface, that would seem like a number that would really hurt Wright considering most people were expecting him to run in the 4.3s to 4.4s, but it doesn't appear to have hurt him very much.

Wright, by all accounts, was really impressive when running routes. It seems that is the reason that people are not putting all that much stock into his 40 time.

We have talked a lot about combine numbers here, and how they are really overrated for the most part. That appears to be exactly the case with Wright's number. Now it will be interesting to see where he goes in the draft. I think his 40 time will keep him out of the top 10, where some people had said he would go with a sub-4.4 time, but he will still probably be off the board by the time the Titans are on the clock.
