MCM NFL Postseason Awards: Defensive Player of the Year

The march continues with Defensive Player of the Year. It is just a shame that Colin McCarthy did not get to play a full season because he would clearly win this award if he did.

Jared Allen had the best season of his brilliant career. He had 22 sacks on the season. That is really impressive considering it is not like he was in a lot of games where the other team was throwing a lot trying to come from behind. He also had a pick.

DeMarcus Ware is another guy that put up an eye-popping sack total. He ended the season with 19.5.

Jason Pierre-Paul might be more feared than the other two on this list. He finished the season with 16.5 sacks.

Charles Woodson is your final nominee. The former Heisman Trophy winner had another big year with seven interceptions. He returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown
